Why Memento exists

Most learning software either delivers a fixed sequence or schedules isolated flashcards. Memento is built around a different question: given the evidence available now, what is the most useful thing for this learner to do next?

The answer lives in a changing knowledge graph. Diagnostic work, practice, feedback and later recall all update the same model.

Magnus is building Memento with learners, parents and tutors in Hong Kong. During the beta, feedback goes directly to the person shaping the product and its DSE English learning model.

How we work

Evidence over labels

A single response adds evidence; it does not define a learner.

Uncertainty stays visible

Pending and unassessed capabilities are not presented as weaknesses.

AI assists judgement

Feedback should help a learner revise; AI output is not treated as an official exam result.

Privacy by design

Account controls, exports and the privacy policy are available from the web app.
